Our focus this year is on community organizing—coming together in spirit and growing stronger in service. A panel of community organizers from across the synod will share insights into the work of organizing, the benefits it brings to faith-based communities and practical ways to get involved. There will be organizers from GHIAA, GBIO and The Connecticut Project present with us to share their wisdom, knowledge and experience. Alongside these conversations, there will be space for worship and fellowship, learning and mutual support, connection and renewal. We invite you to join us for this meaningful time away with your peers.
An offering taken at Wednesday's closing worship will benefit the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land.
Tuesday evening's fellowship time will feature a 'Little Joys' Yankee swap led by the inimitable Anna Tew. If you choose to participate, please bring something small (under $20 or so) that makes you smile or brings you joy. The item should be wrapped.
