Ordination 2025
We're delighted to announce that on Saturday, December 6 at 2 pm, there will be a service of Holy Communion with a Rite of Ordination. The service will take place at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI. Clergy are invited to vest and process; color of the day is red.
Joshua Carlson-Kroschel has been called to serve as co-pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Charlestown, RI where he served his internship.
He received his Master of Divinity degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, IA.
Christine Pelfrey has been called to serve as pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vernon, CT.
She received her Master of Divinity degree from United Lutheran Seminary and her Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies, Magna Cum Laude, from Sacred Heart University.
Kenton Goldsby has been called to serve St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Newport, RI.
He received his Master of Divinity degree from Harvard and his Bachelor's in Spanish and religious studies from University of California, Davis.
Pilgrim has two parking areas on either side of the church property, one lot is on Fairway Lane, and the other lot is on Warwick Lake Ave. The Warwick Lake entrance is wheelchair accessible. Additional parking is also available at the school administration building on Warwick Lake Ave., and on both side streets.
Members of the church requested that attendees consider bringing canned goods to contribute to Pilgrim’s Food Pantry Ministry.
